2  Mail us the following documents:

Original, signed India passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity.

Passport-type photographs: 2

Proof of Status. Valid US visa with original form I-94 and I-20 or IAP-66 (if applicable) or a notarized copy of the front and back of Alien Registration Card (Green Card). Please note that the original green card may be requested.

Itinerary. Copy of itinerary showing exact dates of travel from airline or travel agent. Please do not purchase tickets until visa is issued. Please note that the validity, duration of stay, and number of entries on your visa will be based upon your itinerary.

Health Insurance. Letter on company letterhead from Health Insurance Company indicating the coverage plan for the applicant, specifically stating that the applicant will be covered while traveling internationally and indicating the validity of this coverage (with a minimum medical coverage of US$ 50,000).

Bank Statement. Copy of a recent bank statement showing proof of sufficient funds.

Employment Letter. A letter from your employer/school (on business letterhead, with contact details), stating that a leave of absence has been granted and that you will be returning to your current job. If you are self-employed, include a copy of your business license and tax return. If you are retired please submit proof of your retirement fund.

Hotel Reservations. Copy of confirmed hotel reservations.

Supplemental Form. A completed Denmark Supplementary Information form. This form is available here.

If you will be visiting more than one Schengen country, you must submit evidence of travel and accommodation for each country to be visited.

The Embassy of Denmark reserves the right to request additional documents and/or a personal interview.

Denmark is a member of the Schengen treaty. If you intend to visit several Schengen countries you should apply for a visa at the Embassy or Consulate of the country that is your main destination or, if you do not have a main destination, at the Embassy or Consulate of the country that is your first point of entry. The countries of the Schengen zone are: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden.

The letter should be printed on the company letterhead stationery, addressed to "The Consulate of Denmark, Visa Section", and signed by a senior manager (an equivalent to Vice-President or above). The business letter must adhere to the following guidelines:
• Briefly introduce the applicant (please specify employment status/position held in the company by applicant).
• State the nature of the business to be conducted (ie. business meetings, contract negotiations, etc.) and the names and addresses of companies to be contacted in Denmark.
• Specify the type and desired validity of the visa (ie. a one year multiple entry business visa).
• Guarantee of sufficient funds for travel.

Business Invitation. A business invitation letter from the sponsoring company in Denmark. The letter should be printed on company letterhead stationery, addressed to "The Consulate of Denmark, Visa Section", and signed by a senior manager (an equivalent to Vice-President or above). The business letter must adhere to the following guidelines:
• Briefly introduce the applicant (please specify employment status/position held in the company by applicant).
